Blogging from a small corner of Surrey, West End Village to be precise this will be a, hopefully, fairly regular blog giving an everyday story of not so country folk.
It's likely to focus on our attempts to grow fruit and veg in the garden and cook with the output turning some of it into jams and chutney. But we will also be talking about village life, including one of the highlights of the year in Sept when the local Horticultural Show where we enter some of the categories, with varying results.
So the constant themes are likely to be gardening, food, cooking and life in and around Surrey. but the blog will also witter on about random things including the hassle of getting in and out of London each day and the joy of coming home to our rural peace and quiet and two local pubs, The Inn at West End and the Hare and Hounds and the local Tenaker farm shop.
